South Park is a 25 acre park that offers many options for family recreation. Aside from being the location for many of the Town’s special events, the park offers two illuminated and fenced-in softball fields, an illuminated and fenced-in baseball field, a batting cage, two separate playgrounds for the kids, a quarter-mile walking/jogging track, a large multipurpose/soccer field, a picnic shelter, and it is a trail head for the Jeff Wells Trail. Park enrichment may be accomplished by increasing amenities and parking opportunities.
