Lake Wheeler Park

City of Raleigh park with one wood chip covered playground. There are six rentable picnic shelters, as well as an outdoor volleyball court.

Rental boats will include Pedal Boats, Kayaks, and non-motorized fishing boats. Limited number of boats will be available to rent. All rental boats are subject to weather conditions including thunderstorms, wind speeds, and extreme temperatures. Boat rentals may be suspended or cancelled due to safety concerns or weather conditions.

You must be over the age of 18 to rent boats, and over the age of 16 to independently operate a rental boat.

Please call ahead to determine any weather conditions for the day. Swimming is not permitted.
