The Center is named after Berry O’Kelly and Harveleigh Monte Rivera White, and is located on the former grounds of the Berry O’Kelly Training School. The Pioneer Building, also located in the park, was one of the original school buildings. The park and buildings are on the National Register of Historic Places, and are designated as a Raleigh Historic Landmark. The Berry O'Kelly/Harveleigh White Community Center offers a variety of programs. Exhibit Room
