Welcome to Kids Together-Cary, the place where you can learn all about Kids Together Playground, located at Marla Dorrel Park in Cary, North Carolina. Here you'll find the story of an entire community inspired by the commitment of two little girls to create a new model for accessible playgrounds - a place where kids of all levels of physical and mental ability can enjoy fully-integrated play in a multi-sensory environment that challenges both muscles and minds. We're talking about Kids Together Playground, of course!
There's an Enchanted Misting Garden at Kids Together Playground! Enjoy the Mist! Marla Dorrel Park consists of 2-acre, accessible Kids Together Playground with picnic shelter; an open field and concrete slab for play; a basketball court and parking facilities - all on a 16-acre parcel of land. A paved trail, part of Cary's extensive system of greenways, connects Marla Dorrel Park to MacDonald Woods Park, crossing US1 & 64 via a pedestrian bridge. Marla Dorrel Park and Kids Together Playground are owned and maintained by the Town of Cary. The park is open from sunrise to sunset, every day.
