

City of Raleigh park with two playgrounds (for ages 2-12), both with woodchip surface. The trail is a 10-foot wide, paved asphalt, multipurpose trail that runs for 1400 linear feet. The trail provides an alternate route into the park, to Country Trail, and to the Leesville School Complex for pedestrians, bicyclists, and others coming from the neighborhoods south of Leesville Park.
The Heritage Garden contains remnants of the yeoman family farm property from the late 1880s/early 1900s, including a family cemetery and the home’s stone chimney.
In general, parks are open from dawn to dusk every day.
The outdoor restrooms are now open in the park.
