Abbotts Creek Park and Community Center

Tots and young kids alike can enjoy Abbotts Creek with two playgrounds.

2- to 5-year-old playground has a rubberized safety surface, enclosed fenced in area, and two tot bucket swings.
5- to 12-year-old playground has two traditional belt swings, rubberized play surface, and shade canopy.

Our community center is your community center. No membership fees or dues are required. Sign up for classes in financial wellness, tai chi, English as a Second Language (ESL), yoga, watercolors, and more. Community Center also has a fitness room and a gymnasium.

Abbotts Creek Community Center is a 26,000-square-foot facility and park. It is part of the Capital Area Greenway System. The 2.9-mile connector follows Abbotts Creek from the Neuse River Trail to Simms Branch Trail near the intersection of Durant Road and Cub Trail.
