The Cary property was once home to the town's first indoor movie theater, built in 1946, which hosted live performances as well as films. The property was also used as a clothing store, auto parts store and recording studio. Now the marquee lights up downtown Cary with the mission of providing a unique setting for cinema and live performance to enhance the cultural arts experience in downtown Cary.
The Cary Theater features 180-seat theater, lighted marquee and a concession stand. It offers independent films, music and live performances including comedy and improv!
