North Carolina Aquariums

The North Carolina Aquariums and Jennette's Pier welcome guests to enjoy each location.

The North Carolina Aquariums are dedicated to animals in our care and in the wild. We recognize the challenges threatening species locally and globally. Our team commits resources and time to learning more and taking action through research, fieldwork, education and the daily efforts of staff.

Visitors to the Aquariums can make reservations online. Please see website for daily educational and special events per location.

Fishing at Jeannette's Pier does not require advance registration.

Discovery Bay, a unique aquarium experience at Independence Mall in Wilmington, NC is set to open Wednesday, July 8, 2028 at 10:30 a.m. This mall space will feature ambassador animal encounters, marine life habitats, environmental education programs and a North Carolina Aquarium Society gift shop where members receive a discount.
