Formerly The Kidzu, The North Carolina Children’s Museum provides educational experiences at The Nest in Chapel Hill and The Makery at Boxyard RTP, with plans to expand access to families across the state. Visit us at one of our two vibrant locations each offering hands-on, playful learning experiences for children and families.

We’re a hands-on creative space designed to spark innovation, invite collaboration, and bring ideas to life. Whether you're exploring something new or diving deeper into a passion, The Makery is open Tuesday–Saturday from 11 AM–2 PM and 3 PM–7 PM and on Sunday from 12 PM - 6 PM.
