Established in 1967, MacGregor Downs is an elegant and personal club with a proud Scottish heritage and a wide variety of amenities for the entire family.

MacGregor Downs is much more than an immaculate 18-hole golf course. We offer a variety of amenities for the whole family to enjoy! Our aquatics center, with a Junior Olympic swimming pool, kiddie pool, and delectable poolside grille serves as a destination for all members during the pool season. Our 11 tennis courts are utilized by beginner to expert players year-round and are home to a variety of fundraising tournaments each year! Enjoy an unmatched dining experience in the 19th Hole while enjoying spectacular lakeside views or dine al fresco on our covered deck with a drink in hand. From adult-only events, like our annual Battle of the Breweries, to kid-friendly favorites, like our Polar Express Night, we offer a neverending calendar of activities. Our 18-hole private golf course is annually rated as one of the best courses in the Southeastern United States because of its impeccable playing conditions.

As with the tennis facility, the swimming pool facility is located in a magnificent lakeside setting. The competition-size pool is also home to the MacDolphins Swim Team. Members ages 4-18 are encouraged to join the mighty MacDolphins and compete against other local swim teams in the Raleigh Area Country Club Swim League (RACCSL). Younger children are encouraged to join the MacMinnies, our developmental swim team for ages 3-6.

We want you to experience all that MacGregor Downs has to offer. We would love to have you visit the Club for a personalized tour and can arrange a time for you to enjoy our various amenities. Membership privileges extend to the primary member, spouse or spousal equivalent, and dependent children under age 21 (or 25 if a full-time student living at home).
