Triangle Area Parenting Support helps new parents by connecting them to community-based peer support groups, information, and resources as they transition to parenthood.
Programs include:
Prenatal Support (Program for Early Parent Support) - Prepare for baby's arrival by connecting with other expecting parents! Four weeks of 60 minute virtual meetings on Zoom. Mondays at 8pm - choose your start date when you register. Weekly discussion topics will include, Preparing for Baby’s Arrival, Parenting & Relationship Changes, Self Care & PMADs, and Work, Family, & Childcare options.
Cost: donations accepted
Newborn PEPS Groups (Program for Early Parent Support) - 10 weeks of virtual meetings on Zoom - up to 2 hours each week. 2 facilitated play dates (plus as many unfacilitated play dates as you plan!) 1 or 2 parents attend with baby up to 6 months of age
Cost: Sliding Scale Fees ($35 - $195)
MaS (Madres Solidarias - a Program for Early Parenting Support group) - Los grupos serán facilitados por 8 semanas. Cada semana usted tendrá la oportunidad de compartir sus experiencias de crianza, aprender nuevas actividades para interactuar con su bebé y conversar por videollamada sobre un tema de crianza.
Cost: FREE for qualifying families
PEPS Play Groups (Program for Early Parent Support) - Parenting is Easier Together! Join a community of parents supporting each other. 5 - 8 parents connect daily via text and weekly via video call to create a supportive, trusting community of parents growing together in confidence, wisdom, and hope.
Cost: This is a free program that serves people who earn less than $45,000 a year.
