Read and Feed is an after-school literacy program that provides meals, tutoring and books to children from low-income families in Wake County. Our school partners identify K-5th grade students who can benefit from our tutoring program. Most of the children in our program are reading below benchmark. Selected students attend weekly one hour tutoring sessions in their local neighborhoods and receive meals and books to ready with every visit. Our mobile classroom full of books and incentives is transported to the site for the students to enjoy!
