First Baptist Raleigh Infant Toddler Center and Preschool

When the Infant Toddler Center began in 1975, First Baptist Church saw a need for high quality, affordable childcare in downtown Raleigh. While downtown has changed dramatically in those years, our center's dedication to providing a warm, nurturing environment is just the same. Housed within First Bapist Church, we are a non-profit organization with a Board of Directors composed on nine church members and four Infant Toddler Center parents. A Five Star Center since 2015, we are proud that some children we cared for as babies are now bringing their own babies to us!

The early years are among the most critical for growth and development, so we focus only on babies ages 7 weeks to 3 years old. The littlest ones thrive at ITC because we’re a small center with some of the lowest child-caregiver ratios you’ll find.

Our Preschool is a ministry of First Baptist Church located in downtown Raleigh. Our mission is to provide a high-quality, low-cost preschool program to children regardless of race, gender, or creed. Our goal is to enhance the growth and development of each child by offering a developmentally appropriate curriculum that focuses on the “process” of learning in a play environment, as well as supporting the family in its child-rearing role, all in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating, Christ-centered environment.
