We're so excited to announce Emerge Camps!
Cary Cooking Collective:
4 week session - one time per week.
Mix, measure, create, and taste! Cary Cooking Collective is designed for kids who enjoy exploring food and trying new things in the kitchen. Campers will work together to prepare simple recipes, experiment with ingredients, and discover the fun of cooking in a supportive, hands-on environment. Along the way, they’ll practice teamwork, problem-solving, and independence while building confidence through shared culinary adventures. No chef experience required, just a willingness to have fun and get creative!
Emerge Camps are interest-based programs designed to create a safe space where kids can come together around a shared interest or skill. Once a week, for four weeks, kids can gather to common and connect, grow and enjoy together!
Camps are led by OT's and SLP's and are intended to explore interests while building confidence and connecting with others. We expect these camps to fill up quickly, so take advantage of the early bird pricing and get registered!
Emerge Camps are intended as recreational opportunities for differently abled children and, therefore, are not billable to medical insurance. While 1:1 support will not be provided, the environment, set-up, and leadership of camps is intended to promote new friendships, foster inclusion, participation, and fun without the pressure of accomplishing goals or working towards specific markers of progress.
