During the summer, WFP offers half-day summer camp programming to provide children, tweens, and teens an opportunity to learn, practice, and master their skills! Summer provides a great opportunity for kids to receive some tips and support to boost their confidence and social skills before the new school year begins. Just like our weekly groups, our summer camps are designed to be fun, engaging, educational, and interactive to help your child or teen reach their full potential. Camps offer a unique blend of role playing, games, crafts, books, outside play, videos, modeling, practice, positive reinforcement, and “learning time.” We keep the leader/camper ratio low so that children and teens can get customized live “coaching.”
While our summer camps are held at a WFP office, some camps for older children will sometimes host days “off site” to allow campers the opportunity to practice their skills in “real life” settings (such as at a nearby bowling alley or park!). Our camps provide kids, tweens, and teens the opportunity to learn and practice skills with peers in a safe, relaxed environment while receiving immediate feedback and coaching.
