Carolina Academy of Performing Arts Summer Workshop

In addition to Summer Stock, (see description under Productions under the “Programming” tab) CAPA offers summer workshops with focus ranging from acting, singing and dancing, or all of the above, and more.

Workshop Offerings:
Music Theatre Workshop for Ages 8-16
August 10–14, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Students will perform in a presentation for family & friends Friday, August 14th at 1:30 PM.
Participants will receive personalized recommendations for fall CAPA classes. This camp can count as your audition for a CAPA Company. No previous experience necessary.

CAPA Company Audition Workshop for Ages 8-18
August 10–13, 2026 from 5:30 – 8:00 PM

On August 14th, auditions will be held for all students auditioning for CAPA Company or just for practice for those who only want workshop feedback. A CAPA Company audition is not required to take this workshop.
