Offering nature-based education and forest school offering daily or weekly Summer Camp: Farm and Forest Immerssion.
Farm & Forest Survivors is an immersive, hands-on summer camp where children spend their days living, learning, and playing in rhythm with the land.
Each day begins with real farm stewardship—campers help care for the gardens and greenhouses through age-appropriate farm chores, learning responsibility, teamwork, and where food truly comes from. From watering and harvesting to tending plants and observing growth cycles, children build a deep, respectful relationship with the earth.
Beyond the farm, campers venture into the surrounding forests to explore, wander, and learn through direct experience. Weather permitting, we cool off daily at the creek, allowing space for free play, sensory regulation, and joyful connection to water.
Throughout the week, children are introduced to foundational wilderness survival skills, including: Poisonous and medicinal plant identification
Introductory mushroom identification
Fire crafting and fire safety
Shelter building and outdoor engineering
Nature awareness, observation, and tracking
Creativity and imagination are honored alongside practical skills, with time dedicated to fairy house building, nature crafting, and open-ended play that encourages storytelling, collaboration, and wonder.
This camp is designed to build confidence, resilience, environmental literacy, and reverence for nature, all within a safe, supportive, and child-led environment. Children leave not only with new skills, but with muddy feet, full hearts, and a stronger sense of belonging—to themselves, to each other, and to the land.
