Our camps give children of all ages the opportunity to learn about farm life and all things horses. Our goal is for each camper to have fun and safely learn about being on a farm, feeding and taking care of different kinds of farm animals, and of course understanding the fundamentals of caring for and riding horses.
ACTIVITIES
how to be around a herd of horses
catching/haltering, leading horses
horses teeth and feet
steering/learning about bridle, bits, and reins
horse nutrition
learn about tack and how to saddle a horse
fundamentals of horseback riding
swimming across the pond on horseback
creating enrichment activities for the farm animals to enjoy
Campers will work with horses daily and riding will occur on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
No experience required. Campers will be split into groups based on age and experience level. Riding portions will most likely be at a walk only.
Summer camps are offered weekly and typically scheduled from mid June through early August, but School Holiday camps and Track-out camps are available by week or by day all year round. So if there are other times you'd like camp, just let us know! Track-out camps can be by the day or by the week.
