Christmas at Oak View: 1850-1950
Learn how the Christmas holiday was experienced by the many different people and families living and working at Oak View through its long history, from its days as a plantation to a system of farm management, sharecropping and tenant farming. Tours will be led through several different holiday displays that feature decorations from the Antebellum Era to World War II.
Recommended for upper elementary ages and older. The tour is free, but registration is required for all participants.

Group Tours Offered between 10 a.m.–11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday Tours are available for organized groups of at least 10 people. Submit your tour request on our website. Can't make it to one of the guided tours? Visit any time during our operating hours and take a self-guided version of the tour. You can also take the tour anytime from the comfort of home!
