11:30-12:30pm
Teens
I put a spell on you...and now you're going to sign up for this bewitching class where we will be teaching a Vernacular Jazz routine to the most popular song from the movie Hocus Pocus! A lot of dancers that have taken Jazz classes at TAP will be familiar with the Fosse style of Jazz, but in this class we will introduce you to the Vernacular style that was popular in the early-mid 1900s. This class for ages 13+ will be for all levels of dance experience. So light a black flame candle, run amok, and sign up before the sun rises!

12:30-1:30pm
Ages 9-13 (Parent & Child)
Join us for a frightfully fun workshop where you will learn how to swing dance to the theme song from the Casper movie! This is a great opportunity for parents to see what your child is learning because YOU get to sign up and dance with them. In this beginner friendly dance class for ages 9+ we will be teaching the footwork, rhythms, and connection of 6 Count Swing - a dance that originated in the 1930s and is still popular today! We can't wait to get you in the mood for Halloween with some Hallo-swing!

The adult participant can be any known adult (parent, grandparent, sibling, neighbor, etc) that is at least 16 years of age or older
