Japanese Cultural Outreach at Five Points Center

  • When: Tuesday, September 17, 2024,  1:30 pm -  4:00 pm

  • Cost: $5 per person per class

Kiri-Gami from 1:30PM - 2:30PM: Participants will learn to create intricate designs by cutting and folding Origami paper..

Onigiri from 3PM - 4PM: How to make rice balls which are ideal for picnics and bento boxes.

We are working with the Japan America Society of North Carolina to provide cultural outreach programs. The Instructor Miku Kubota is from Japan and is eager to share some of her culture with our patrons. We are very excited about this opportunity and hope you will join us.

Registration is required and is limited to 20 participants per session. A materials fee of $5 per person per class is due at registration.
