Area youth are invited to get a free backpack with school supplies at the Beta Lambda Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.’s Operation BigBookBag backpack giveaway under the small shelter in Anderson Point Park.
The event is hosted in partnership with the Beta Lambda Sigma Charitable Foundation and the Beta Lambda Sigma Philo Affiliate. In addition to the backpack giveaway, there will be games and books available for participating families provided by WAKE Up and Read. Backpacks will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
