Maybe every kid can't have an animal pet—but everyone can have a plant pet! That's the message of ten-year-old author and houseplant enthusiast Beatrice (Bea) Boggs Allen in her new book Plant Pets (written by Bea and her mom, Belle Boggs). Join us to meet Bea and learn about the easiest, most fun, and most affordable plants that can be grown indoors in pots. Attendees will have a chance to pot and take home their own plant, and sample pickles made from Bea’s home-grown vegetables! Books will be available on-site for purchase.

Free and open to the public, please register.
