Attention Parents of Creative Kids!
Want to give your child the opportunity to have their art featured at the North Carolina Folk Festival?
The NC Folk Festival Youth Art Contest is calling all students from grades K-12 to showcase their artistic talent and imagination.
Who Can Enter?
All students in grades K-12 are welcome to participate. Whether your child loves drawing, painting, or any other form of visual art, we want to see their masterpieces!
Theme: Artwork must focus on the theme “How Does Folk Music Connect Us?”
Required Art Mediums:
2D dry media such as graphite, charcoal, colored pens, colored pencils, pastels
2D wet media such as acrylic, oil, watercolor, ink wash, printmaking
Entries are due July 31st!
Submissions must include a fully completed online application, images of the artwork, and the artist statement.
