5th of July Litter Cleanup at Dix Park

Description:
Help Parks staff in keeping Dorothea Dix clean and beautiful at this litter cleanup! This will take place the day after hosting thousands of families on the big field for the 4th of July Celebration. Help us return the area to a natural state by collecting any stray trash.
Duties and Impact:
Volunteers will use pickup sticks, gloves, buckets, and trash bags to collect and dispose of litter.
Work Environment:
We will be working outside in the elements. There is the possibility for uneven ground. There will be port-o-johns on site as well as a restroom that is reachable by car.
Requirements:
Ages 0+. Those under 16 must have a parent/guardian present
Complete a release form for the calendar year (if prompted). Those under 18 will need a parent/guardian signature.
