John Chavis Memorial Park's African-American History: A Trip through Time

Join us Monday night for conversations surrounding historic African-American individuals, events, and places such as John Chavis, Juneteenth, and Chavis Park. We will take a trip through time from the 1700s to present day through presentations and an optional walking tour. We will have sidewalk chalk, Juneteenth coloring pages, and an Italian ice truck all centered around our splash pad and playground!
Refreshments will be provided.
