El Futuro, North Carolina’s leading provider of bilingual and culturally-responsive mental health services, invites the community and media representatives to join the celebration of “Día de las Madres Kermes.”
The goal of a Kermes (a form of outdoor celebration very similar to a carnival or festival), is to cultivate a sense of belonging amongst the Latine community. As such, this vibrant outdoor event will honor mothers and highlight the importance of mental health and self-care within the Latine community.
Self-Care Workshops: Participate in meditation, yoga, and massage sessions.
Fitness and Fun: Get moving with Zumba and enjoy typical dances and music.
Art and Culture: Explore public art displays and crafts from various countries.
Family Activities: Engage in arts & crafts, enjoy food from local vendors, and don’t miss the free photo sessions with prints for mothers.
Raffles and Prizes: Win exciting prizes and giveaways throughout the evening.
