White Deer Park's Statewide Star Party

We're just two weeks away from the Statewide Star Party!
Join us on Friday, April 5th for an evening of activities, s'mores by the campfire, and stargazing. Also make sure to stop by on Monday, April 8th for activities and viewing of the unforgettable solar eclipse!
Starting around 2pm and peaking around 3:15pm, we will see the sun about 80% covered by the moon. We'll be partying between 2-4pm with activities in the Nature Center and games on the lawn, so make sure to stop by!
Even though it may seem safe, looking directly at the sun (even during a solar eclipse) is very dangerous! Make sure to only view the solar eclipse using eclipse glasses to avoid damaging your eyes. We do have a limited supply of solar eclipse glasses for participants to use during the event.
