Join us for a for an incredible #NuggetStoryTime at North Carolina’s First Black Owned Bookstore, Liberation Station. Every attendee will receive one free book per family courtesy of Nugget Comfort.
On Saturday, February 10th, the state’s first Black-owned bookstore specializing in children's literature welcomes local families to an in-store ‘Nugget Storytime’, hosted by Liberation Station founder Victoria Scott-Miller. The story time will showcase children’s books by Black authors in the store’s vibrant space surrounded by Nugget play couches—a perfect backdrop for an engaging story time. This interactive experience not only aims to build a sense of community in North Carolina’s Triangle, but to foster both appreciation and understanding of Black culture and history among families. Nugget's commitment to community and equity is at the core of their brand ethos, and partnering with Liberation Station Bookstore reflects this dedication as mutual advocates for media representation.
