Every year, United Way of the Greater Triangle offers ways to honor Dr. King’s legacy. Make it a “Day On” rather than a “Day Off.” In-person and virtual volunteer and learning opportunities will be available. More info to come

Please join us as we prepare to celebrate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., on January 15th, 2024 with the Boys & Girls Club of Raliegh, as we create a fun and safe environment for children & youth to participate in community service. Our mission calls for us support those who are addressing the needs of those effected most in our communities and continue to provide opportunities for networks to be involved.

Volunteers are essential to this event. There is no experience or training necessary! Join us with a spirit of giving as we give to those who need it most.

We're planning to facilitate a day of service with 500 students and youth packing "Winter Kits" for Oak City Cares. The event is free and open to the public, but we do ask students and parents to register ahead of time.
