Christmas at Historic Oak View County Park

Daily Tours: December 4-22, 2023

Learn how the Christmas holiday was experienced by the many different people and families living and working at Oak View through its long history, from its days as a plantation to a system of farm management, sharecropping and tenant farming. Tours will be led through several different holiday displays that feature decorations from the Antebellum Era to World War II.

Tours are best for upper elementary school-aged children and older, and they last around one hour. Tours are available for organized groups and the general public.

General Public Tours
2 p.m. Monday through Friday
10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday
2 p.m. Sunday

There are several opportunities to join us for a tour!

Pre-registration required.

Self-Guided Mobile Tours
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday
1 to 5 p.m. Sunday
December 2–29 (closed December 24 and 25)
Can't make it to one of the guided tours? Visit any time during our operating hours and take a self-guided version of the tour. You can also take the tour anytime from the comfort of home!
