Fairgrounds Southern Ideal Home Show

The Fairgrounds Southern Ideal Home Show returns to North Carolina State Fairgrounds Sept. 15-17 with hundreds of industry professionals offering consultations and advice, as well as showcasing the latest products in kitchens, bath, outdoor spaces, gardening and more.
Special guests of the show include Craig Conniver of Bravo’s hit reality series "Southern Charm" and co-founder of Sewing Down South lifestyle brand (appearing Friday at 3 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m.) and Chef Vivian Howard, award-winning restaurateur, best-selling cookbook author and host of PBS’ “Somewhere South” and “A Chef’s Life” (appearing Saturday at 3 p.m.).
Other features include an immersive design studio by Home Revision where guests can explore a living room, dining room, kitchen and bath (with a "demo area" for kids); a free Make It, Take It Plant Workshop hosted by Urban Pothos Houseplant Shop; and presentations on the Fresh Ideas Stage.
Special admission days: Please have a valid ID ready!
Senior and Hero Day is Friday, September 15. All seniors 60+ save $5 on Friday admission. All active and retired military personnel, veterans, fire, police, and first responders receive free admission.
Nurse Day is Sunday, September 17.
Teachers get free admission all three days of the show.
