Turtle Time

  • When: Wednesday, October 18, 2017, 10:00 am - 11:30 am
  • Location: North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences | 11 West Jones Street, Raleigh NC 27601
  • Cost: $10 per participant. $7.50 Friends of the Museum (plus tax)

Get to know our state reptile, the Eastern box turtle! Meet several live box turtles and use methods that real scientists use to study them. Program includes time for free exploration in the Discovery Room. Parents are welcome to stay for the formal program, then explore the room with their child. If parents are bringing younger siblings to the Museum we recommend they plan to explore the Museum with those siblings during the formal program time, and return to the Discovery Room to assist their enrolled child during exploration time.
