Mocha Moms Support Meeting

  • When: Thursday, August 10, 2017, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Location: Greystone Community Indoor Park | 7713 Leadmine Rd., Raleigh NC
  • Cost: Free

The purpose of these meetings is to allow mothers of color who work less than full-time outside of the home or who work from home the opportunity to connect and build relationships with each out. While rewarding, being at home with children can be isolating for many women. Being a women of color also adds an additional level of isolation for many women as well. Therefore, the primary purpose of these meetings is to give and receive support from one another regarding the many challenges life throws at us. About 10-20 minutes of each meeting will be a focused conversation about a predefined topic. The rest of the meeting is open to address all other topics and/or concerns of members.

Children are welcome to attend. There is an indoor playground on the premises.
