Open Play at the Farm allows you and your child to come and spend an extended time enjoying what you love best! Bring a book, bring a picnic! You may tour the farm at your own pace or join us as our knowledgeable staff lead you through feeding the chickens, cows, goats and pigs. This is both entertaining and educational. You'll have a chance to spend time grooming Gus the Shetland pony. Feel like you need some snuggles? No problem! Head to the snuggle station for your turn to snuggle a baby goat or a bunny (parents - yes, you get a turn too!). Then we will start all over again, so you just hop right in when you arrive! We will have decorative birdhouses or horseshoe windchimes to paint as an add on. The treats for the farm animals are included in the cost of your admission ticket but they would also love your fresh cabbage and sweet potatoes. Please have the staff review your treats from home before feeding them to the animals. Please do not feed plants or other items to the animals without speaking with a member of the staff first.
Advance purchase tickets are recommended, and tickets are required for everyone in attendance.
Pony Rides are available for children ages 2-8 and under 75lbs for an additional cost to the Open Play ticket. There are a limited number of pony rides available, so we strongly recommend purchasing pony ride tickets when you purchase your open play tickets as they do sell out. The Feathered Farm does reserve the right to refund or exchange a ticket if the pony is experiencing a behavior issue that could impact the safety of the pony or the guest. The Feathered Farm also reserves the right to cancel a ticket if the child is experiencing a behavior issue that could impact their safety or that of the pony. Pony rides will take place between 11:15-12:45.

Strollers are welcome.
We do have a picnic area and outside food is permitted. Some dates have foodtrucks and we do offer water, soda and light snacks at an added cost.
Refunds are available with 48 hours notice and vouchers our available for notices under 48 hours but prior to the start of the event. Please wear closed toed shoes. A waiver will be required for all attending.
