Historic Oak View County Park Programs

Historic Oak View County Park Programs

This antebellum farmstead features an 1855 Greek Revival house, detached kitchen, cotton gin house, livestock barn, carriage house, pecan grove and herb garden. Enjoy picnic facilities and stop in the Farm History Center, where kids learn through play in the interactive “Farmer’s Corner.”

Historic Oak View offers a variety of public programs that invite visitors to explore and connect with daily farm life. Public programs are offered for all ages and include aspects of Oak View's history, nature or recreational opportunities. We also offer several self-guided activities for small groups or families, which allow you to tour the property on your own while learning about a topic related to Oak View's history through fun and interactive hands-on activities. Check out the Historic Oak View's website for detailed information with regards to their programs.
