We Rock the Spectrum - Cary Volunteering

We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym – Triangle locations aim to provide a place for children of all ability levels to play and grow together. We will give all children a safe, sensory-friendly, understanding, and nurturing environment. Our gym will offer unique sensory equipment often found in pediatric Occupational Therapy clinics to fulfill the need for strong sensory input required by those who are autistic or who have SPD or ADHD. As the only kid’s gym that offers an inclusive philosophy, we have found that all children can benefit from our uniquely designed sensory equipment. Allowing children of all ability levels to play together can learn a great deal from each other. This also inspires compassion and supports inclusivity and acceptance of diversity.

Our outstanding team of committed volunteers is critical to our gym’s success.

Supervision to young children, 2 and up with We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym is provided during Break time and Open play.

You care about the mission of We Rock and work to ensure all of our customers are treated with kindness and respect.

You embody the belief that people visiting our location “will never have to say they are sorry” based on how their child shows behavior at our gym.

Birthday Parties
Summer Camps
Care Coach Volunteers

Recommended Requirements
• Enthusiasm to work with All children with All Abilities
• We are here to train you if you need help
• Previous experiences working with children
• Previous Volunteering experience
• Pre-Volunteer Screening (Background check)
