5 - 8 parents connect daily via text and weekly via video call to create a supportive, trusting community of parents growing together in confidence, wisdom, and hope.

Thursday: Parenting Topic Discussion

Who qualifies? This is a free program that serves people who earn less than $45,000 a year. Groups are for parents with babies 18 months and younger.

Becoming a parent is a challenge. Asking for help can be difficult, but we’re here to help you build a community of support so you don’t face these challenges alone. Our groups allow parents to share unique experiences and make lifelong friends! PEPS Play groups are designed to break down the barriers that keep parents from connecting with an emotionally supportive community. Working parent? No problem. No transportation? We’ve got you. No time? It only takes a few minutes a day to connect with your group.

What’s the cost? This program is FREE of charge to families in Wake County in situations of great need, thanks to the support of Wake County Smart Start and generous donors and sponsors.

What’s the group format?* Groups are facilitated virtually for 8 weeks. Each week, you’ll have the opportunity to share your parenting experiences, learn new activities to do with baby and discuss a parenting topic. See below for the topic schedule and weekly discussion rhythm.
