Wake Forest Homeschoolers
WFHS is a support group for homeschooling families in Wake Forest, North Carolina and surrounding areas.
Wake Forest Homeschoolers has many opportunities for homeschool families. We have a twice a year co-op that usually runs about 5-6 weeks (typically held on Fridays). The classes are parent led and involve a variety of class topics- including, but definitely not limited to, Legos, cooking/baking, art classes, science, math, history, preschool classes, sewing, etc.
In addition to co-op, we hold events throughout the year. We have regular park/play dates, history fairs, science fairs, geography fairs, seasonal holiday parties (Trunk or Treat, Valentine's Day, Winter/Holiday), ice cream socials, promotion/graduation celebrations, field trips, and educational opportunities, and so much more.
Membership dues are $30 per year (pro-rated throughout the year). These fees cover things like ice cream socials and pizza parties!
