Apex Community Park

Vast park with a 50-acre lake for canoes, kayaks, sailboards & fishing, 3 ball fields and 2 batting cages, 2 soccer fields, 3 sand volleyball courts, 6 tennis courts, 4 basketball courts (1 fenced for roller hockey), Child’s playground and swings (ages 2-12), Restroom Facilities, Over 3 miles of developed nature and fitness trails (Two miles paved, One mile natural walking trail), Picnic Areas, Grills, Outdoor courts for tennis and basketball, and a Fishing dock.

Apex Community Park also houses the Elevate Fitness Course, inspired by the fast-growing trend of obstacle course fitness.

The course was designed with teens in mind, but the Apex Parks & Recreation Department will be using Elevate to create wellness programs for all ages and abilities!

We partnered with BCI Burke Playground Equipment and Barrs Recreation to bring this equipment and program to Apex – the first of its kind in the country!
