This summer, join your friends at Piedmont Wildlife Center as we connect with nature (and each other!) at our award-winning outdoor camps. Explore some of the Triangle’s best parks, play exciting forest games, go creek crawling, meet native NC wildlife, and more.

SUMMER DAY YOUTH CAMPERS:
Get ready for creek crawling, forest building, wildlife science, and more outdoor fun. Summer Camp at Piedmont Wildlife Center is a magical time filled with the opportunity for outdoor exploration and nature connection. With all our programs taking place outdoors, we invite campers to connect with the earth and with each other as we fill the days with forest games, creek crawling, and animal encounters.

TEEN SUMMER BACKPACKING TRIP
Join us for an exciting week-long adventure of wilderness living! We will explore the rock outcroppings and trout-filled mountain streams, experience the clear mountain air and dappled sunshine, increase our backpacking and wilderness knowledge, and develop confidence and new friendships.

TEEN OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP
You stand on the threshold between being a camper and being a counselor. You have the power to shape your own adventure and guide those who are taking their first steps into nature. Hone your outdoor skills and learn to become a community leader!

All teens must attend this program before being a Counselor in Training (CIT). Teen Outdoor Leadership is only offered during the summer season.
