Fred Fletcher Park

City of Raleigh park with one sand surface playground, a water garden and wetland which is an ecosystem for butterflies, dragonflies, frogs, ducks, and other animal species.

There is an outdoor basketball (concrete) and two tennis courts (no lights, no backgoards), and a softball, a multipurpose field and a sand surface playground perfect for ages 2-12.

There are entrances to the park off of St. Mary's Street and Glenwood Avenue. Enjoy a stroll around the walking paths throughout the park.

Garris Building
Serves as the business office for School Programs, Nature Programs, and Teen Programs.

Borden Building and Amphitheater and shelters can be rented for weddings, parties, small conferences, bridal portraits, meetings, and other special events
