Lake Wheeler Park Boat Rentals

Constructed in 1956 with the aid of the Army Corps of Engineers, Lake Wheeler once served as Raleigh's secondary auxiliary water supply lake. Boat rentals will operate Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9am – 4pm. Rental boats will include Pedal Boats, Kayaks, and non-motorized fishing boats. Limited number of boats will be available to rent.
All rental boats are subject to weather conditions including thunderstorms, wind speeds, and extreme temperatures. Boat rentals may be suspended or cancelled due to safety concerns or weather conditions.
