The Helene Foundation

The Helene Foundation provides immediate support to mothers fighting cancer to impact families positively. Our goal is for the family to maintain as much normalcy as possible during this trying time. We assist women in active treatment at Triangle area cancer treatment facilities.

Types of Assistance Provided
We look at each family individually to determine the best way to make this difficult time easier. A few of the services we have provided in the past include:

family meals delivered to the home

housecleaning

child-care

tutoring services for children

assistance with transportation costs to medical appointments and treatments

covering the costs of children’s activities
