Summer Food Service Program

Summer Food Service Program

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a USDA-funded program to feed children under 18 during the summer months when school is not in session. Meals are free and vary at each site. Sites are located across Wake County and may be hosted by non-profits, the faith community, libraries, parks and others. The program typically begins the day after traditional-calendar schools are released and concludes the Friday before school resumes; however, schedules vary based on the site coordinator and sponsor.

For an updated list of sites near you, please use the NCDPI Food Finder App! Or, text FOODNC to 304-304 and provide your full address, ZIP code or city.
