  media coming to Raleigh, North Carolina. Zine Folk NC came about in order 
 to meet the needs of North Carolina’s growing zine maker and independent co
 mics community. We love what we do, and we want to expand our reach by educ
 ating the city of Raleigh on the collective power of independent voices, ph
 ysical media, and building true community. One of the best and easiest ways
  to foster this is by sharing the art of making and trading zines.<br /><br
  />Our event schedule is now live - check website! We have two floors of ex
 hibitor tables featuring NC-based zine makers and independent comic artists
 , a classroom with hands-on workshops throughout the day, snacks and drinks
  available courtesy of Artspace concessions, and a live zine-reading hour.<
 br /><br />Space will be limited for our hands-on workshops (materials prov
 ided), so we ask that you please sign up ahead of time if you want to guara
 ntee a spot. Links to these workshops are now live on our event schedule pa
 ge! <br /><br />Zine Folk NC is absolutely free to attend! We do encourage 
 visitors to bring money to purchase from our exhibitors, as well as bring y
 our own zines to trade.
