 imate helps shape the plants that grow in our gardens.\n\nYouth participant
 s, accompanied by an adult, will investigate signs of fall in the garden, e
 xplore plant hardiness zones, and plant a resilient garden plant to take ho
 me!\n\nYou'll also get an introduction to ecoEXPLORE, an incentive-based co
 mmunity science program developed by The North Carolina Arboretum. By makin
 g real-world observations and completing fun challenges, youth participants
  can earn badges and prizes throughout the year.\n\nThere is no need to hav
 e an ecoEXPLORE account prior to this program in order to participate. Prog
 ram begins at the Visitor Center. Come dressed for the weather as this prog
 ram will be held partly outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, activi
 ties will be moved inside.\n\nDon't miss out on this opportunity to equip y
 our budding explorers with the knowledge and tools to continue (or begin!) 
 their science journey.\n\nSuggested for ages 8 to 10 years old.
