 arks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Advisory Board, "Wake Forest Unplugge
 d...Get Connected" is a rare opportunity for residents to "disconnect" from
  cell phones, video games and computers, and "re-connect" with their commun
 ity, friends, and family.<br /><br />The PRCR Advisory Board will host a va
 riety of organized games and activities from 5-7 p.m. in the vicinity of th
 e Walker Garden.<br /><br />Even if you can't make it out to Joyner Park, y
 ou and your family can still participate by simply "unplugging" from your t
 elevisions, computers, phones, and video games for the afternoon and instea
 d engage in healthier, more active pursuits.<br />Be on the lookout for a n
 ew addition this year called the Passport! Visit the different booths onsit
 e and collect a stamp to earn a prize!<br /><br />Wake Forest Unplugged...G
 et Connected will culminate with a free concert from 5:30-7:30 p.m. by ACE 
 Party Band in the E. Carroll Joyner Park amphitheater.<br /><br />You're al
