DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Kids ages 8-11 and their family members are invited to join library staff f
 rom NC State University Libraries to build a wooden hydraulic robotic arm f
 rom a STEM kit. This workshop will provide hands-on experience in mechanica
 l engineering by building a robotic arm capable of lifting, manipulating, a
 nd rotating objects by up to 90 degrees. This kit demonstrates how water ca
 n power a machine, offering insights into fluid dynamics and mechanical fun
 ctions. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessar
 y. \n\nThis workshop is part of the Learning is Fun Family Series. Limit on
 e kit per family; parents/guardians must accompany participating child at a
 ll times. \n\nPre-registration is required and space is limited, so if you 
 are no longer able to attend, please let us know so that we may release you
 r spot to another child and their family. \n\n
