 ill dive into the world of entomology to learn about and observe butterflie
 s in the gardens!<br /><br />Suggested for ages 8 to 10 years old.  Youth p
 articipants, accompanied by an adult, will use their detective skills to di
 scover the differences between butterflies and moths, learn how to identify
  some common butterflies, then head out into the garden to observe butterfl
 ies in their natural habitat.<br /><br />You'll also get an introduction to
  ecoEXPLORE, an incentive-based community science program developed by The 
 North Carolina Arboretum. By making real-world observations and completing 
 fun challenges, youth participants can earn badges and prizes throughout th
 e year.
